Uncanny X-Men 129 CGC Signature Series 9.4 - Signed by Chris Claremont
Wanted to upgrade my 8.5 Emma Frost first appearance and found this one. It's signed by Chris Claremont, and is a 9.4, which is right in my price range that I'm willing to spend. While I'd love a 9.6 or a 9.8, the signature makes up the difference in those grades for me. Nice addition to the collection.

A section of the sculpture “Windows Into the Past” by Tony Pankiw is a tribute to the local community and to Annie Dorrington nee Whistler (19 March 1866 – 21 April 1926) and her works. Dorrington an artist, entered the international competition to design the Australian flag in 1901. She named her entry “Ahasuerus.” The judges selected five similar designs (including Ahasuerus) as the winners and the prize of £200 was shared between them. Annie died in the nearby Claremont Hospital for the Insane. Annie Dorrington Park, Mt Claremont, Western Australia.

Signs of the future
Back in June, with the NECR Signal project progressing at full speed, I made an effort to capture images of all searchlights along the current-day Palmer Subdivision before their decommissioning. Following a work assignment for Amtrak, I undertook a trip to South Claremont to photograph the rarely seen MP 157.9 northbound approach to the South Claremont Siding Switch. Upon navigating through dense vegetation, I encountered the approach while its LED replacement awaited activation. Notably, the signal was permanently removed within two to three weeks of capturing this image.
