Monastery of Saint Macarius the Great
The Monastery of Saint Macarius (Arabic: دير الأنبا مقار) is a Coptic Orthodox monastery located in Wadi El Natrun, Beheira Governorate, about 92 km north west of Cairo, and off the highway between Cairo and Alexandria.
The monastery was founded in approximately 360 AD by Saint Macarius of Egypt, who was the spiritual father to more than four thousand monks of different nationalities. From its foundation in the 4th century up to the present day, the monastery has been continuously inhabited by monks. Several Christian saints and fathers of the early Church were monks at the Monastery of Saint Macarius, such as Saint Macarius of Alexandria, Saint John the Dwarf, Saint Paphnutius the Ascetic, Saint Isidore, Saint Arsenius, Saint Moses the Black, Saint Poemen, Saint Serapion and many others.

sleep. Naught List / Book of Demons
This was SO much fun to make. My favorite things to make combine a little bit of darkness and whimsy. This is also a very flexible item for roleplay use! I am excited to see what people do.

100% matches for C. fernaldella.
Locality: Coastal SW Washington State at the edge of Willapa Bay geo:lat=46 37.273 geo:lon=-123 56.814
Micro 6-14 Nothing like this … three specimens this morning
Eric LaGasa: 7-9-14:
You little critter is a Cosmopterigid, likely Cosmopterix fernaldella, C scirpicola, or C abdita. We sent a couple similar specimens to BOLD and the came back as “likely” one of those.
All are miners in various plants, Asteracae and Convolvulacae (although many hosts aren’t known). You might check any morning glory around the catch site or new ornamental plants. Might be interesting to see what your BOLD results come back as.

Kyoto – Kamogawa river
On a walk from the Hilton Hotel Kyoto to the Kamogawa river, and Pontocho and the surrounding streets.
I did to take the opportunity to sit for quite a while by the river near here under the Sanjo Ohashi bridge, to think about how this trip was going and what it all meant. This was the only occasion when I was out and about during the day by myself, so things all seemed a little different.

I also find this arc similar to the one in Paris - Arc de Triumphe. This arc also reminds me of my favorite book - Arch of Triumph by Erich Maria Remarque. I like to take a picture of something from a big perspectives and then shift my focus on the little details which add on perspectives. I enjoy reading history of different buildings before taking pictures of them. It helps me to understand the building. Usually taking pictures of small details makes me shift my negative thinking to focusing on being in the present.

Another building. I loved taking picture of this building, I think it was a church. I like how these buildings are made, every little details is showed. Modern skyscrapers might be harder to build because they're tall, but they can be boring living in a big city. So, sometimes I'll have this mood to wonder around and look for uniqueness

I don't know what this fungi is called, but there were thousands of them around the rainforest. Very dainty like little umbrellas. The largest ones were only about 25mm across.

I know, the 300 is no POWER-HOUSE, but a kick in the pants because of the Nostalgia of running something a little bit different than the Other-Guy.
