Yes. Western Sydney clay soil needs added preparation for both paving and planting. We use engineered base materials and drainage for paving, and gypsum, organic matter and raised beds for planting. This comes standard on every regional job, not as an add-on.

Generally walls under 600mm without surcharge are exempt from approval, but anything taller, on a boundary, or carrying load usually needs engineering and council approval. We confirm requirements with the local council, including Penrith City Council DA requirements, before quoting structural walls.
