Yes. Western Sydney clay soils need suitable preparation for paving and planting. We use engineered base materials and drainage for paving, and gypsum, organic matter and raised beds for planting. This is standard on every job in the region, not an add-on.

Generally walls under 600mm without surcharge are exempt from approval, but anything taller, near a boundary, or carrying load may need engineering and council consent. We confirm requirements with the local council, including Penrith City Council DA requirements, before quoting structural walls.
