Tinker Building
Historic Orlando
Joe Tinker constructed this building in 1925 to house his real estate offices.
Tinker played shortstop for the Chicago Cubs during their most prolific period, when they won four pennants in 1906-1908 and 1910 and back-to back World Series titles in 1907 and 1908.
He moved to Orlando in 1920 to manage the Orlando Tigers, a baseball team in the Florida State League.
