St Peter's Church, Edensor
A lovely, quiet and relaxing stroll around The Chatsworth Estate. Starting at Calton Lees, down a very muddy river bank to the Hall, then over the hillside to Edensor and back to the car
This gace me a good opportunity for me to take out the Asahi Pentax Super Takumar 50mm f1.4 early model 2 lens (this lens was manufactured somewhere between 1965 and 1971) and is still able to render exact details on a modern Olympus OM-D E-M1 mkii body.
I have purposefully added the vignette and blur in post-processing as I wanted the eye to be drawn into the centre of the image

56-Edensor-Chatsworth Estate
Edensor is a village and civil parish in Derbyshire, England. The population of the civil parish as of the 2011 census was 145. It is the closest village to Chatsworth House. Much of it belongs to the Dukes of Devonshire, most of whom are buried in the churchyard of St Peter's Church. Originally the village was close to the River Derwent immediately below Chatsworth, but between 1838 and 1842 William Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire had it moved out of sight[2] over a hill, apart from one cottage whose tenant did not want to move, which still stands in Chatsworth Park. The planning of the new village was overseen by Joseph Paxton (later Sir Joseph Paxton); in 1840 he was joined in designing houses by John Robertson.
